Trekaline International: Oman Experience

Trekaline is excited to have one of its newest experiences all the way from UAE to Oman; join us for a unique full weekend adventure to Oman mountains, wadis (canyons) and old cities with cultural experience.

Brief Setup:

Day 1 (Friday) - Head towards Oman basecamp and setup tents

Day 2 (Saturday) - Wadi Nakher Hike followed by a Trekaline dinner setup

Day 3 (Sunday) - Wadi Damm Hike and  head back to Dubai

Difficulty: Beginners

Duration: 5 Hours

Distance: 6 KM

What's included?

Transportation:

- Carpooling from Dubai - Hatta meeting point

- Car Petrol & Car Insurance*

*Hikers who offer to drive and allow carpooling will be compensated for petrol and car insuranse in full upon start of the trip

*Hikers must have a 4x4 car and should ensure to have the car serviced and checked before the trip

Food:

- Breakfast (Saturday and Sunday)

- Day Snack / Lunch (Saturday and Sunday)

- Dinner (Saturday)

- Water (throughout the weekend adventure)

- Snacks, juices and soft drinks

*There will be no dinner on Friday (food is advised to be bought and eaten on the way to Oman)

Itinerary:

Friday

07:00 pm - Arrive at meeting point

07:30 pm - Gear and equipment check

08:00 pm - Move towards Oman base camp

01:00 am - Arrive at base camp, set up tents and good night

Saturday

09:00 am - Breakfast is served

11:00 am - Move towards the Wadi

12:00 pm - Briefing and start of the hike

03:00 pm - Stop for soft lunch and snacks

05:00 pm - Reach back to starting point

06:00 pm - Reach base camp and setup and dinner preparation

07:00 pm - Dinner is served - Bon Appetit

Sunday

09:00 am - Breakfast is served

11:00 am - Move towards the Old Village Tour

02:30 pm - Heading Back to UAE

What you need to have with you?

- Camping gear (tent, mattress, pillow, and sleeping bag)

- Personal chair

- Personal items

- Hygeine items (sanitizer, toiletry, mask, etc.)

- Vaccination certificate from AlHosn

- Your original passport

- Emirates ID

- Sport and swimming clothes (plus extras)

- Towel and extra shoes

- Jacket and warm clothes

Exclusions (hiker need to secure before trip):

- Oman Visa https://evisa.rop.gov.om/

- Covid 19 PCR from UAE before 72 hours

Note: Only vaccinated individuals are allowed into Oman

Payment Terms:

Payment in full before 48 hours, failure to pay does not guarantee a spot on the trip.

Cancellation Policy:

• 100% REFUND - If your cancellation is at least 48 hours in advance of the event
• 50% REFUND - If your cancellation is at least 24 hours in advance of the event
• NO REFUND - If your cancellation is less than 24 hours in advance, or if you do not show up
